They can see their draft taking shape write from the first draft to the last.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a very good chance for helping our students revise and polish their draft. Writing experts have always advocated peer editing as a way of improving writing skills.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Students pay little attention to teachers' corrections after the essay is completed. Some people feel that home equity loans are trouble waiting to happen. Others feel that home equity loans are a key to opening a stronger financial picture and better home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is no simple answer to this question. The truth of the matter is that it will depend on you specifically. There are many financial advisors who believe having equity built in your home is equivalent to keeping your money under a mattress. The mattress, however, is non-liquid which means you cannot necessarily get at the money as soon as you need it. They believe that keeping money under a mattress results in your inability to make your money work for you, though they do acknowledge the minimal risk in keeping your equity in such a safe place.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These same advisors would have you consider taking out a home equity loan in order to invest the income. If, for example, you can find a relatively safe investment at a greater interest rate than you are paying on your loan than you will have your money working for you. If, obviously, the interest rate you are paying on your home equity loan is greater than the interest you are earning on the money in the investment than it does not make financial sense.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another time financial advisors would consider it smart business sense to take out a home equity loan is to pay off higher interest rate loans and credit cards. If your home equity loan is at 8% and you are paying off credit cards at 18% and other loans at 10% or more than clearly it makes economic sense to consolidate your debt through a home equity loan. It is important, however, to factor in closing costs in the decision making process. The closing costs may eat up a great deal of the savings, if not all of it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is a risk, however, for some homeowners. For example, there are some home equity loans that give you a checkbook. As you write checks the money is a loan against the equity in your home. This may cause people to overextend themselves unknowingly. Without a definitive plan in mind, a home owner with this type of loan may use the funds for items that do not necessarily make the best financial sense. They may exhaust all of the equity in their home and not have the ability to use the funds for consolidating their debts or making financial investments.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The personality of the home owner is key to making the right decision when it comes to home equity loans. It is also a good idea to speak to a financial professional in order to get a full understanding of your overall financial goals prior to making this important decision.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The structure of the home equity loan is important to. Make sure you pay careful attention to the interest rates and the closing costs. When applying for the loan request a full breakdown of any and all costs associated with the loan. Depending on how old your documentation is (title search, appraisal, etc) you may save money by using them again for the home equity loan. A title search needs to only be updated rather than started from scratch. If, however, a considerable period of time has passed since you first received your home loan than all documentation may have to be obtained from scratch.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is also advisable to give your home loan officer a strong understanding of what your intent is with the funds. If you want to pay off other debts you can request that the bank prepares checks directly to the lenders you wish to pay off. This will minimize any temptation to then use the funds for other purposes. Some loan packages will require you to do precisely this.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As you enter the wonderful world of home equity loans it is important to have a clear understanding of what you want and expect out of the loan. Sometimes I'll remember a restaurant just because of their excellent coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So what are their secrets and how can you duplicate this recipe at home? It may surprise you to find out that the French Press brewing method could be the secret in achieving that restaurant quality taste.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Most fine restaurants use a press pot, also known as the French Press, which produces an extremely rich cup of coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Press pot coffee is coffee steeped for 3-4 minutes between 195 to 205 degrees F. It produces a thicker and much richer taste than an auto-drip machine can produce.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A disadvantage of the French Press is it may leave trace amounts of coffee sediment. But the rich taste more than makes up for the small amount of sediment at the bottom of your cup.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So first, start off with a quality medium roast coffee, which is what most restaurants use. I can give you a couple of good recommendations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Seattle's Best Breakfast Blend, Starbucks Breakfast Blend or Starbucks Sulawesi Coffee is 3 excellent choices. These are full-bodied coffees yet very smooth tasting. They are some of our best sellers at &lt;a href="http://perfectcoffees.com/" target="new"&gt;PerfectCoffees.com&lt;/a&gt; and work well for French Press brewing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You want to grind the coffee slightly larger than you would for drip coffee. Too fine of a grind will produce a bitter cup of coffee. If your grind is too coarse, the coffee will taste weak. A quality grinder is the best thing you can do to improve the taste of French press coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Remove the plunger from the press pot and put 1 rounded tablespoon of coarse ground coffee per each 6oz. of water into the pot. You can adjust this to your own taste.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Coffee is 99% water so use clean filtered or bottled water free from chlorine and other minerals that affect the taste of coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Boil the water and remove it from the heat for five minutes before you pour it. This will give you the 195 to 205 degree water that is ideal to brew with. Now pour the 195 to 205 degree water over the ground coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Stir the coffee to get total saturation of the grounds then place the plunger on top of the pot and let the coffee steep for 3 to 4 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Depress the plunger slowly to push the grounds to the bottom of the pot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Serve all the coffee in the pot after the 3 to 4 minutes of steeping. Otherwise the coffee will keep getting stronger.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you have any left, you can always transfer it to a clean, preheated air pot or a stainless steel Thermos. This will keep the coffee hot about an hour without hurting the flavor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The French press brewing method definitely takes more time but gives us the result we are looking for. On the whole, for any given lot they will provide:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Location&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Construction details&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tenure (e.g. freehold)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Accommodation details (e.g. 3 bedrooms etc)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Notes (e.g. refurbishment required)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Viewing details&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Solicitor details&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Auctioneers usually publish a catalogue with the lot details – this is a book detailing the various properties available at auction. These will usually be available a month or less prior to the auction date.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;IDENTIFYING REPOSSESSIONS&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some banks/building societies can be sheepish about revealing that they are selling repossessed properties so you need to be alert in the auction for clues. Auction adverts may reveal that a bank may be the seller of a number of properties, or the auction catalogue may state a phrase such as ‘on instruction of a liquidator’ or something similar –this should tell you that the property being sold is a repossession. It’s the one asset you have where you’ve plunked down your lifetime savings.  Now you want it all back! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That equity you were slowly building over these years will come back to you a hundredfold because you’ve thought about it long enough to realize that there is a handsome profit waiting to be made. &lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;Don’t worry!  This episode in your life doesn’t need to be a drama of horrors.
